New chapter 3.4.1.2 – Railway undertakings’ responsibilities for implementing ERA Change Requests on lines with ERTMS Baseline 3
Through Norwegian and European railway legislation (ref. TSI CCS), Bane NOR is required to communicate the requirements to be imposed on railway undertakings to ensure that they implement changes/corrections to the ERTMS specifications that may affect interoperability between rolling stock and railway infrastructure.
The Notified Body (NoBo) has required Bane NOR to communicate this in the Network Statement, and it will be a prerequisite for obtaining authorisation to bring upcoming ERTMS lines in Norway into operation.
