Autotransformator (BLIX)

The transformer must be disconnected from operation and safely earthed before the maintenance operations listed below are performed.

For cleaning of porcelain bushings and tank, easily evaporating detergent e.g. white spirit should be used. The radiators and fans can be cleaned with a brush and pressure air. For pumps, heat exchangers and bushings other than porcelain bushings, please refer to respective instructions. Plastic parts, eg. auxiliary devices can’t be cleaned by alcohol.
