Animal collisions

This annex provides an overview of animal collisions per kilometre on the Norwegian railway network.

Bane NOR has a dedicated action plan to prevent animal collisions on the railway. The plan, which includes various measures to avoid accidents involving livestock, semi-domesticated reindeer, and wildlife, covers the period 2022–2025 and can be downloaded from banenor.no.
